May the Fourth be with you…

… as it sure is not with me. My internet connection went down today.

Earlier in the day I was unable to send e-mail (though I cound receive), and “Walid”, the technical support person to whom I spoke via live chat was not much help. That’s not his fault, that is the fault of whomever has Customer Service people performing Technical Support functions.

All Broadband functionality just went down. Scheduled maintenance was due to begin at 2AM – more than four hours away – so it couldn’t have been that. Looks like some bright spark decided to start work more than four hours early – and knocked the system offline across three states. Wasted over two hours trying to get Tech Supp to answer.
