Recessions for Dummies

Just in case you were wondering…

  1. People ain’t buying stuff because they are afraid they will lose their jobs.
  2. Companies are cutting back because people ain’t buying stuff.
  3. People are losing their jobs because companies are cutting back.
  4. Lather, rinse and repeat.

I blame the Media for talking about “recession” before it happened (if it actually has). This is the financial equivalent of shouting “FIRE!” in a crowded movie house. The fact that it happened on the cusp of an election makes it doubly suspicious.
